In the third quarter of 2025, several leading Maps and Navigation applications on the Android platform in Norway showed notable trends in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a fluctuating pattern in downloads, starting with around 3.2K in early July and ending at approximately 2.1K by the end of September. Active users, however, showed a positive trend, increasing from 27.1K to over 32.2K during the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a stable download rate, beginning with 3.1K and concluding the quarter with 2.1K downloads. The app's active users started at 10.9K, peaking at 12.6K mid-quarter, before settling at 9.1K by the end.

Vy showed a consistent download pattern, with figures ranging from 2.3K to 1.7K throughout the quarter. The number of active users remained relatively high, starting at 79.9K, experiencing a dip mid-quarter, and ending at 71.1K.
